Step 3: Control the energy buildup

1. Release the energy stored by compressed air, hydraulic pressure and spring
2. If feasible, use clips or pins to reinforce mechanical parts
Step 4: Make sure the energy is under control
In many cases, even though it looks like the switch or the valve is off, the device is still powered because there may be bypass energy or the control is not in the right place, so you need to double check before you start operating.
Key points:
1. Make measurements using a tool, such as a multimeter, to confirm that the power source has been cut off
2. Check the pressure gauge, power indicator, start cycle button to test whether the equipment will continue to move
Step 5: Start performing maintenance until completion
You can begin repair or maintenance activities after confirming that the power source is completely isolated, but you need to be careful about continuity, as some changes may occur while you are away, such as personnel changes or equipment status changes. If there has been a handover, you should know what has changed before the assignment.

Step 6: Reset the device after maintenance
Your repair or maintenance work is all over and you can turn it on, but before you do, you still need to check a few things.

2. Clearing and notifying irrelevant personnel on site
3. Make sure the control button of the device is off or in neutral state
4. Remove the lock and lockout tag and enable the device
