Accident Prevention Measures -Lockout Tagout
1. 10 provisions on the safety of conveying equipment
Conveying equipment without qualified protective cover shall not be used
Prior to the maintenance operation, the operator must shut down in place and Lockout all energy
Only trained and competent personnel are allowed to operate and repair the conveyer equipment
Keep tools, body parts and hair away from conveying equipment before removing material or plugging
The operator must ensure that all persons are away from the conveyor equipment before it is activated
The operator must be familiar with the position and function of all control switches
Operators shall not alter, misuse or remove Lockout tagout devices or alarm devices without authorization
Operators are not allowed to climb, sit, stand, walk or ride on the conveying equipment, and are not allowed to touch the conveying equipment or drill under it
Operators must promptly report any unsafe conditions and practices they find.
