EIP and non-lockout Tagout require non-loto?
EIP:Energy Isolation Program
Needs include: type of energy; Under the belt of energy; Equipment isolation point; Lockout Tagout step; Confirm the isolation
Non-loto: Use the Lockout tag alone without locking
The non-LOTO list should be checked when a separate Lockout tag is used for some maintenance, repair, improvement, or commissioning processes that cannot be locked for energy (e.g. live maintenance, commissioning). If it is not on the list, the assessment team will be required to assess it
Multi-person operation; Shift operation; Contractor operation; Multi-energy locking
Multi-person operation: according to the importance of the work and the danger of the position of the personnel, the higher the importance, the higher the risk of the person, the first to lock, the last to lock.
Shift operation: Shift personnel and shift personnel face to face handover, shift personnel must clearly inform shift personnel of locking location, and point to point to change the lock operation. Shift staff lock first, shift staff lock later
Contractor operation: contractor’s manager must lock up with contractor’s manager, our manager locks up first, contractor locks up later. When the work is finished, the contractor locks it first and we lock it again
Multi-energy locking: Lockout tagout or quarantine must be performed for each energy source, as well as for multi-person operations.
