Energy isolation preparation

1. Safety disclosure
The person in charge of the operation site shall make safety disclosure to all personnel carrying out the operation, inform them of the operation content, possible safety risks in the operation process, operation safety requirements and emergency handling measures, etc. After disclosure, both the confessor and the confessor shall sign for confirmation.

2. Check the device
Safety and protective equipment, personal protective equipment, emergency and rescue equipment, operation equipment and appliances should be checked for completeness and safety before operation, and should be repaired or replaced immediately if any problem is found. When limited space may be flammable and explosive environment, equipment and appliances should meet the explosion-proof safety requirements.

3. Closed working area and safety warning
Enclosures should be set up at the operation site to seal off the operation area, and safety warning signs or safety warning boards should be set up at prominent positions around the entrance and exit.
Traffic safety facilities shall be set up around the operation area if the road is blocked. For nighttime operations, warning lights should be set up in prominent locations around the operation area, and personnel should wear high-visibility warning clothing.

4. Open the entrance and exit
Operating personnel stand outside the limited space on the windward side, open the import and export for natural ventilation, there may be explosion risk, explosion-proof measures should be taken when opening; If limited by the surrounding area of the import and export, the operator may be exposed to toxic and harmful gases emitted in the limited space during opening, he/she shall wear corresponding respiratory protective equipment.

5. Secure isolation
In case of equipment, facilities, materials and energy that may endanger the safety of limited space operations, reliable isolation (partition) measures such as sealing, blocking and cutting off energy shall be taken, and Lockout tagout or special personnel shall be assigned to guard against accidental opening or removal of isolation facilities by irrelevant personnel.
