The procedure of Lockout Tagout consists of five steps: identification, isolation, locking, confirmation and test. Identification, i.e., identification of all sources of hazardous energy and materials before Lockout tagout; Isolation, that is, to identify the dangerous energy isolation point and type; Locking, i.e. selecting appropriate locks and labels according to the isolation list; Confirm that all hazardous materials are removed from the site and hazardous energy has been isolated; Testing, that is, confirming that hazardous energy or materials are isolated and communicated.
