All locks must be physically disconnected and tested without voltage. After verification, the lock management personnel will issue personal locks, keys, locking tools and tags to designated professional engineers or guardians.
Note: before releasing dangerous energy or material, it is necessary to observe pressure gauge or liquid level indicator to confirm that the instrument is in working state and that the isolation and release of dangerous energy or material are effective. During the validation process, additional hazards associated with the isolation process will be assessed through pre-work safety analysis or risk identification, and mitigation/control measures will be developed to ensure operational safety.
