Lockout tagout is lifted
Remove all tools from the work area to ensure the safe operation of the machine; Also ensure that the machine is fully installed.
Only go to roll call by way of ensuring that all employees are kept away from hazardous areas of equipment. Also inform all personnel on site that the Lockout tagout has been lifted.
Unlock the Lockout tagout device. Each device must be removed by the person installing the modification device.

Lockout Tagout protection must be extended if the maintenance operation lasts more than one shift.
If the person performing the Lockout tagout is not on site and the Lockout tagout cannot be lifted, the Lockout tagout can be lifted only in an emergency and under the direction of the supervisor.
