Objectives of Loto training
1. Ensure that all authorized personnel understand the purpose and function of the energy control program
(2) Training shall provide all authorized personnel with an awareness commensurate with the level of exposure they may encounter
The training program should meet at least the following requirements
(1) The training of authorized personnel shall be carried out before they undertake repair and maintenance work or may be exposed to hazardous energies
2. The training program shall take into account applicable manufacturer documentation, industry best practices’ regulatory requirements and the experience of authorized personnel
3. Each authorized person shall be trained on the type and size of energy sources in the workplace
(4) Each authorized person shall be trained in the types of energy sources that they may encounter during maintenance or maintenance and in the methods of controlling and isolating energy
5. The training shall include examples of hazardous energy control schemes for specific machines, and shall enable the trained personnel to understand and implement them
6. Only general training courses should be avoided, training documents should be matched to the level of exposure to hazards that the workshop, team and post may encounter, and the documents used in the training should be saved
7. Training records shall be kept and archived, including the name of each trained person, training date and training subject
